Well, here we are, fully into January. I'm feeling good :)
I have three days left of temping, four days off and then I start a permanent job! Still way at the bottom on the ladder, but at least I won't be the ultimate scum of student/temp (no offence meant to anyone, it's just the way I've felt...) I will also be working in the centre of Birmingham, which will be really nice after the slightly scumming (seems to be a theme today...) Newtown/Aston where I have been working - there are some interesting types wandering about!
It's a new year and I am feeling it. Some cupboards have finally been cleared out, sorted and burnt (this is a metaphor), it's taken a while, blimey it has, but fresh start.
I keep watching television programmes about really fat people etc and each time it makes me think "Ooo, I never want to get fat, hmm, should perhaps do some more exercise...). I have actually been doing some, but not through great mental effort, just through luck... (there seem to be faaaaar too many elipses and brackets in this post, very sorry) (and I'm not sure of the correct puntuation! Should I put a full stop after the bracket? Answers on a postcard).
We had a good frisbee training session yesterday, it was really fun, it has to be said that frisbee is a waaaaaay better sport that netball. Of course, I did already know this, but just the giggles I had yesterday from fun confirmed this!
Right, shortish and sweetish, that'll do pig,
xx

You found me chérie!
Well, Christmas is over. Thank goodness. I didn't even get a Christmas dinner this year because of my mum's strict vegetarianism! How depressing!
I'm back in beautiful Birmingham. I've managed to spend much hard earned and easy given cash already, which was good fun. I didn't take advantage of the sales so much, can't bear the scrambling! I did manage one bargain though, a children's pair (size 6) of astro boot thingamies for £12.50, what a bargain! Yes, I did want them.
I'm impressed that Ségo has found by blog, seeing as it doesn't particularly exist yet and I hadn't told her about it, the internet is a wonderful thing. I had thought I would write in French, but that does just sound a little silly. Maybe I will do one post in French for fun. That's my idea of fun. Blimey, I miss speaking French so much! I've just had my former housemate of three years, Helen, up to visit. I'm a little jealous of her living in France, although there is no way I could face uprooting right now, I shall just love it from afar!
We watched the "Sound of Music" last night. Quite frankly the best film ever made. Fact. True story.
Think I'm going to have a bath, I ache for some reason...

Inspired by Sego
La Belle Segolene has had a blog for yonks now, I enjoy reading it and she has said a few times that I should get one too, so here it is. I am not trying to pretentious with the address, I have merely taken inspiration from her slash copied her blog name :-)
Right, it's Christmas, it's quiet and pleasant in Hathern, Leicestershire and I am enjoying myself although I'm sure I'll start to long for the city soon.
That'll do for now.
xx
